　　Shaanxi HanDe Axle Co., Ltd was jointly invested and upbuilt by Weichai Power Co., Ltd. & Shaanxi Automobile Group Co., Ltd in March of 2003. The company belongs to high-tech enterprise, consisting of Xi’an and Baoji two plants. So far, it is the biggest heavy duty axle manufacturing base in China. A number of series of HanDe axles’ assembly have batch-wisely assembled on some famous China Brand Commercial Utility Trucks. HanDe Company has 3 years constantly to be awarded as Top 500 China Machinery Enterprises and China 100 Best Automobile Parts Enterprises. In Sep. of 2007, HanDe Axle was honored as the title of China Name Brand Products.

　　The Company, covering an area of 297,000㎡and with its workshop space of 177,000㎡. It has over 2800 staffs, including over 380 engineers and various technicians, 8 senior engineers, 2 researcher level engineers. And its register capital is 320million CNY.

　　The company, with the capability of the integrated R&D, manufacturing, inspection and marketing system, successively passed ISO9001：1994/2000、GJB9001A-2001、ISO/TS16949 Quality System Attestation, and in June, 2007, the company passed Environment/Profession Security Management System Attestation.

　　Since HanDe solely introduced the Styer Axle manufacturing technology from Austria in the last 1980s’, it has been in the wake of the world Automobile industry development pace. In 2004, HanDe Company carried out the technical cooperation with Germany MAN Corp. for introducing the world advanced Heavy Duty Vehicle Axle Technology so as to keep its technology status ahead in China and the world.

　　The major products of HanDe Company include Hub Reduction Drive Axle, Single Reduction Driving Axle, Steering Axle and Tag Axle etc. totaling 5 series of more than 100 types’ products.

　　In recent years, the company has invested over 650 million CNY for the flexible alteration of the key components machining line as well as the technology update of the Axle assembly line and the spay-painting line; and the domestic first-class and international advanced production lines, such like series of Hub Case, Differential Case, Hub Retarder, Main Reduction Case, Hub, Gang Way Case, Front Beam and Steering Knuckle etc., were built up, so were the relevant matching equipments of Heat Treatment and Axle Assy Assembly Line and Spray-Painting Line outfitted .

　　When the big technology renovation and the new plant construction were carried out, simultaneously, the management systems such like ERP and lean production were also vigorously pushed forward in the company, which enables the management efficiency greatly upgraded and makes the management more scientific and normative.

　　At present, HanDe Company has constructed a very good and stable cooperation relationship with Shaanxi Heavy Duty Automobile Co., Ltd, Dong Feng Commercial Vehicle Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Huizhong Company etc. over 10 domestic heavy duty vehicle manufacturers. The Axle Assy products have been exported to European, Asia and North America etc. over 10 foreign countries and regions. In June, 2007, HanDe Axle Assy technology exported to India, which initiated an export precedent for China Automobile Assy Technology and settled a foundation for HanDe further exploiting the international market.

　　In order to satisfy the domestic and international marketing demands, in July 2006 the Company commenced its Xi’an plant construction, and in August, 2007, Xi’an plant completed its construction and put into production. To the end of “The 11th National five-year-plan”, HanDe Company shall become a well-outfitted, mechanics-advanced, technology-level-ahead and great modern axle manufacturing base with production capacity of 400,000 axles.
